The Institute of Geography welcomes all new students! A new and exciting phase of your life is about to begin.

The start into “student life” can be complicated. You don’t know anyone yet, you don’t know where to find which information and how “studying” works in general. In order to provide you with the best possible support for your start in your geography studies, we will hold a welcoming and introductory event on Monday, 18. October 2021, at 12:15 pm (room 01.053, Kochtsr. 4, Erlangen). You will meet some of your lecturers, receive relevant information on your program and have the opportunity to select and book your courses.

Please note that for attending the event, a proof of Covid-19 vaccination, testing or recovery is required. Please bring appropriate proof together with a valid identity card or passport to the event for the purpose of verification.

In StudOn, we have compiled information and tips for you about getting started and organising your studies. Access for geography students is available at https://www.studon.fau.de/crs3336940_join.html

More information on the master’s programme is available online. On the program page, you will also find general information on starting your studies: https://www.geography.nat.fau.eu/study/information-for-students/
