Research

In the last ten years my research was dedicated on the glaciers of the Southern Andes with a special focus on the Patagonian Icefields. I realized simulations of their surface mass balance and also studied their dynamics and calving. I am also in charge of a mass balance monitoring program at Mocho Glacier in the Chilean lake district. From the technical side my focus in on numerical models but I am also very happy to collect new data from the field from time to time in order to challenge my numerical simulations.
