The Institute of Geography welcomes new Master’s students!

The start into “student life” in Germany can be complicated. You don’t know anyone yet, you don’t know where to find which information and how “studying” works in general. In order to provide you with the best possible support for your start in your geography studies, we will hold a welcoming and introductory event on Monday, 17 April 2023, at 10:15 am (seminar room 2, #00.175). You will meet some of your lecturers, receive relevant information on your program and have the opportunity to select and book your courses (Course plan summer term 2023).

If you will not arrive in Germany by the start of the lecture period and would like to participate in the welcome event online, please contact birgit.schwabe@fau.de or alexandra.titz@fau.de. You will then be provided with a Zoom link.

The Central Office for International Affairs offers a welcome week April 04-16 2023. The programme is open to all international students.

More information on the master’s programme is available online. On the program page, you will also find general information on starting your studies: https://www.geography.nat.fau.eu/study/information-for-students/
